M E E T | K R I S T I N A

Professional Vocalist & Instructor

Hi, I’m Kristina. I’m a professional vocalist, vocal coach, Chinese Crested dog mom and interior design enthusiast. I absolutely love teaching people the power of their own voice and authenticity.

I’m so glad you landed on my little part of the internet! I have such a deep passion for music and performance and I can’t wait to share that with you. As a little girl, my teachers were such a guiding star for my talent and development as an artist and I feel honored to be able to pass the torch to my students now. Every voice is unique and every student experiences different challenges and triumphs and my job is to build your technique to prepare you for all of it.

I’m a born and raised New Orleans girl and I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember. Music in my city is on every street corner and embedded into our culture and hearts. I sang everywhere and I sang A LOT. My family got the hint and enrolled me in choirs, musicals and finally my own private voice lessons. Private voice lessons opened up a whole new world for me and grew my confidence. Soon I was enrolled in the high school arts conservatory New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts or NOCCA for short. This incredible opportunity prepared me for a spot at The Boston Conservatory where I received a BFA in Musical Theatre. Shortly after graduating I went back home to New Orleans where I began performing with a wide assortment of professional bands singing everything from jazz, soul, funk, pop, rock, musicals, kids music, and more. It was a wild and exciting time where I learned to lead bands and work as a professional in the music industry.

I grew an unbreakable confidence in myself as a vocalist and performer as I was constantly challenged working with some of the best musicians New Orleans had to offer and singing for audiences from all over the globe. After 10 years of performing professionally in my hometown, I decided to move to Orlando to be closer to my family. In Orlando, I had the incredible opportunity to work with Disney World Resorts at the Disney Springs park as a featured performer on their outdoor stages. Unfortunately, the global pandemic hit and my time at Disney was cut short.

In 2021, I setup official residence in Atlanta and reopened my voice studio. I’m so excited to be a part of this thriving creative community as a performer and teacher.

So you want to sing…

I’m so happy to hear that! I LOVE singing and I believe singing can be taught to anyone! Whether you are a beginner or a career vocalist, having a voice teacher is an invaluable asset. Beginners need a strong foundation and guidance to build rock solid technique to achieve their potential. Career vocalists require a strong team to help build their careers and a vocal coach helping them maintain their instrument through demanding rehearsals and repertoire is essential. With a ton of industry experience myself, I am here to guide you in the right direction. Welcome to my studio!

Who should join my studio?

I teach all ages and levels from age 7 and beyond. Dedication is the only essential you must bring to the table. Learning to sing doesn't happen overnight so a spirit of dedication to the process is absolutely crucial. Students who will benefit the most from my studio are interested in finding out what makes them unique as a vocalist and performer as well as building rock solid technique. I'm interested in creating memorable voices and performers and want to work with people who want to dive in deep to share their expression and authenticity with the world. To me, there's nothing more alluring and riveting in the performing arts than someone expressing what I call the "inner wild." That's why my studio dedicates itself to not only building strong voices but voices that are hallmarks.

Are you available as a dialect coach, voice and speech coach or script and continuity supervisor for film industry work?

Yes! I'm comfortable working onset with actors, writers, producers and directors as a voice and speech or dialect coach. I'm also very comfortable working closely with the crew and actors as a script supervisor to maintain continuity throughout the production. With my background in theatre, being on set and long hours are my happy place and my attention to detail does not falter. Please reach out to me at 504-250-8618 or email me at innerwildvoice@gmail.com to discuss if I'd be the right fit for your project.
